My Friends Love of Men's Spandex Swimwear Is Confusing to Me

I have a friend that has started wearing men's spandex swimwear all the time and I couldn’t understand why. I thought it might be a phase that he was going through or something but it turns out he has been wearing them for years and only now started telling any of his friends about it. He showed me a couple of the designs that he likes to wear and I really couldn’t tell what they were. I am pretty sure that if he had been wearing them I would have a better idea but he basically just threw them at me and I had to figure it out for myself.

This revelation got me to wondering what it was about men's spandex swimwear that he found so interesting so I started looking around online. I never really knew that something like this was so popular but now I do. There are literally thousands of different sites out there delving into this strange world of men wear spandex that I never knew existed before. Not that I found it to be disturbing, well for the most part as there are some very disturbing things online in regards to spandex. But it amazed me that this was hidden away right below the surface and I never knew it existed before.

While I don’t fault my friend for wearing men's spandex swimwear I still don’t quite understand the reason behind it. I have found a lot of information online but none of that explains why my friend takes this stuff so seriously. I tried asking him about it and all he ever tells me is that I need to try some on for myself in order to comprehend what he goes through while wearing them. I'm not going to be trying any of his on so I guess I will have to start looking into buying my own spandex swimwear so that I can finally understand why he wears them so often. I feel this is going to be a rather interesting ride and one that I won't forget anytime soon. I just hope that I can find something that I will actually enjoy wearing like he does because he seems to have a lot of fun with them.
